FULL OF FIESTA wins by 3 1/4 with nearly even odds

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2010 - SAM HOUSTON RACE PARK - Full Of Fiesta started off this racing year in fine form with a win in the TABA Overnight Stakes. This was his first race of 2010, after finishing last year with 5 races, 1 win, 2 seconds, and a third including two stakes placings at Delaware Park. His performance last year earned him a Darley Nomination for Champion 3 year old Colt/Gelding of 2009.

Full Of Fiesta by the stallion Nivour De Cardonne, and out of Full Of Finesse by MHF Eclipse. He was bred by Alan Kirshner and Deborah Mihaloff, and is owned by Cre Run Enterprises LLC. Greg Ketter trains the four year old colt, and he was ridden by Paul Nolan. Full Of Fiesta ran the Six and One-Half Furlong distance in 1:28.50.

Dare to Dance, by the stallion Line Dancer and owned by Toskhara Arabians, broke well and took the early lead to be headed at the half. He held second position strongly to the finish, followed by Chriss SWA, a colt by Chndaka. Chriss SWA is owned by James Wetzel. Opening Act by Nivour De Cardonne and owned by Cre Run Enterprises LLC ran fourth. He was a coupled entry with winner Full of Fiesta. Dacotah Dancer, Macho Maury, and Abbott also ran.
